Before I fill my day with chores, important though they be,
I look out at my fellow man, each soul who walks with me.
I ask the Lord to show me where a need I can fulfill.
I plan to lend a helping hand: to go and do God’s Will.
Oh it’s a new day for being with You.
Yes it’s a new day for living in Truth!
Oh it’s a new day, I’m starting again:
Living a life of love.
Before I make a list of tasks that I think should get done
I pray that I’ll be shown the true importance of each one.
I make a list and choose with care the ones to do.
I leave the rest and do my best. I’m working God for You!
Oh it’s a new day for being with You.
Yes it’s a new day for living in Truth!
