The time has come my friends to say good bye.
‘Tis the yearning of my heart that’s urging me to fly.
At times I’ve turned the other way, wishing it would go away
But now I know for certain, God’s opened wide the curtain
I must take the step beyond, yes I must go.
Now I must spread my wings and fly my friends,
I’m called to trust, to grow
And I know wherever I may be, sweet Spirit’s watching over me!
I must spread my wings, with Spirit fly
to places yet unknown.
I’m guided by the Light, more love to know.
Life is changing. We’ve new worlds to explore.
When we listen to our inner voice, Spirit opens wide the door!
‘Tis the voice that lives in me, the voice that is in you.
We each have our own story, when pursued we know the glory!
And it’s true that Spirit’s strength will see you through.
So please spread your wings and fly my friends.
Be all that you can be.
When you need to cry or feel afraid, recall the times that we have shared.
And you’ll spread your wings and fly again.
And always in our hearts
memories live on. We’ll never be apart.
