Deep Inside Of Me
Words and music by Jeanne Loehnis

Deep inside of me it grows. It’s with me everywhere I go.
Certainly I need it to survive.
Reminding me that I am meek. I can’t have that which I seek.
No, I shall never blossom, never thrive.
I’ve got this fear, it's planted firm. Within my soul, it's nestled sure.
It's roots grow deep and strong; they hold on tight.
No, I've not got the strength alone. I'm weary 'cause I've tried so hard
to pull it up and make my world seem right.
Yet, I want to move on, Oh Lord, and live with You each day.
I want this fear to end, to go away.
And I know if I call on You, Your strength will see me through.
You'll help the fear move on; we'll start anew!
Deep inside of me You grow. You're with me everywhere I go.
Certainly I need You to survive.
Remind me now that I'm not meek. I can have that which I seek.
Yes, with You I will blossom, I will thrive.
