When fear has filled my every thought
inertia trapped me though I’ve fought to
free myself and move ahead
may courage speak to me instead.
What would Courage say?
You’ve everything you need this day
to turn and walk the other way.
Deep within where Spirit dwells
come and know that all is well.
When I’ve grabbed hold again this day,
controlling every move I make,
thinking I’m in charge again
may I let go and breathe You in.
How can I let go?
You’ve everything you need this day
to turn and walk the other way.
Deep within where Spirit dwells
come and know that all is well.
When doubt has come and questioned me,
and clear direction I can’t see,
it’s pulled me down. I’m so confused.
May I remember trust in You!
Where can I find Trust?
You’ve everything you need this day
to turn and walk the other way.
Deep within where Spirit dwells
come and know that all is well.
When hate deep down within my bones
is my protection from your stones
’tis pain, not freedom, that I feel!
May Love in me now be revealed.
How will I see Love?
You’ve everything you need this day
to turn and walk the other way.
Deep within where Spirit dwells
come and know that all is well.

When I release my fear of fear
and draw it close and pause to hear
that still small voice: my inner guide.
No longer need I run and hide.
I hear Wisdom say:
The fear you feel within your soul
has come to teach you, make you whole.
Listen well then turn to see,
I'm in all; I'll set you free.
