My heart's been searching for so long.
Dreaming of its own freedom song.
Needing more from life each day.
Seeking, yet can't find the way.
And I don't know where I'm going to. I only know where I've been.
This 'ole road winding to and fro has brought me round the bend.
And I see before my own eyes a story that's only mine to tell.
So my friend I must say goodbye. And I wish you well.
Lately it’s all becoming clear.
There is a sure pathway out of here.
Don’t yet know each step I’ll take.
But the first in faith I’ll make.
And I don't know where I'm going to. I only know where I've been.
